Many centuries ago a king lived in a castle with his beautiful wife, newborn child and their loyal Rottweiler.
Every morning the king would go hunting with his dog. They leave at dawn and return for lunch.
One day, the king left the Rottweiler at home and went hunting. He left him at the castle, with the wife and the child. When he returned, he found the Rottweiler in front of the castle with his mouth full of blood. The dog began to tail and enjoy, happy that his master finally returned home.
When the king saw the Rottweiler with bloody mouth he felt frightened, black thoughts darkened his mind, he thought that the Rottweiler became angry for leaving him without a hunt and killed the baby in the crib.
Furious, without thinking twice, the king pulled out his gun and shot the dog, which was probably the biggest misfortune of his family.
He climbed into the child’s room, and the scene provoked him: His wife sighed holding the child in her arms. At the foot of the crib the emperor saw a dead wolf with a broken neck. The whole room was full of blood. The child was crying and it was impossible to comfort her
The king felt a pain in his heart and although he knew the answer he asked his wife:
– Honey, what happened?
– Our wonderful dog killed the wolf that came into the house and wanted to attack our child.
The king couldn’t hold back his tears…………..
Take a moment and think how many times we judged someone without knowing the whole story, how many you didn’t accuse without first asking, how many times you didnt make your own opinions without listening to the other person side of the story.
Think of all the times people judged you without really knowing your side of the story, think of all the times other mistreated you and next time before judging, accusing someone else or even yourself, take a step back and don’t accuse, don’t judge and don’t take a conclusion before knowing all the facts.
In my own experience I learned that we all do things that hurt others or even ourselves, and many times there is an explanation behind every negative gesture we do.
The homeless person that seats on the streets can be someone that never had a family, never had someone to support him and tell him that he can make it, the jealous wife can be someone that always needs reassurance someone that is afraid that is not good enough, the person that marry for money can be someone that is afraid to be poor , that had a tough childhood, the man that is not ready to comeet can be the child that was left or ignored by his father, behind all our negative behaviours there fear or the absence of love, a child that was hurt and never knew better.
Be kind to everyone and life will be kind to you.
